MIXR contains an extensive set of graphics objects and classes to rapidly create complex instruments. This page shows a few examples of what can be done. Leveraging this capability, complex simulations with highly interactive, fully functional “dynamic” displays can be built.

Because the simulation and instrument libraries are implemented as independent hierarchical class libraries, both capabilities can be used and intermixed with other solutions. For example, the graphic and instrument libraries can be used with other simulation solutions, and, MIXR simulation capabilities can be used with other display interfaces. But, the biggest bang is delivered when both simulation and graphics libraries are used together. MIXR goes well beyond providing OpenGL or DirectX class libraries for drawing; it provides the tools to design complex simulations.
